MLB London Series Trafalgar Square Takeover
If you’re not at London Stadium, Trafalgar Square is the place to be during this year’s MLB World Tour London Series. Trafalgar Square Takeover is a three-day celebration of the best of baseball culture, set in one of the capital’s most iconic locations. The two regular season games between St. Louis Cardinals and Chicago Cubs will live screened, along with lots of food, music and merch.
Meet baseball fans from the UK, St. Louis, Chicago and around the world. And, if you’re up for the challenge, swing for the fences in the world exclusive ‘Home Run Derby X The Cage’. The caged game gives visitors a chance to hit home runs in Trafalgar Square in a dimension-defying new baseball game that blends real life and virtual gameplay using the latest ball tracking technology.
We'll be a partner at the event, doing what we do best nourishing the people and the planet by handing out quality snacks and diet alternatives. Swing on by and join us - it’s free to attend and open to everyone on a first come, first served basis.
When is the event?
The event will run between Friday, June 23rd and Sunday, June 25th. The opening times are:
Friday 23rd June: 2pm - 10pm
Saturday 24th June: 10am - 10.30pm
Sunday 25th June: 11am - 8pm
Where is the event?
Trafalgar Square, London. Entry to the event will be via the east and west entrances on the North Terrace, in front of the National Gallery.
Trafalgar Square is located in central London. The closest Underground Station is Charing Cross (less than 3-min walk), which is served by the Bakerloo and Northern Lines. Leicester Square (Piccadilly & Northern lines) and Embankment (Bakerloo, Circle, District and Northern Lines) are also within walking distance. Many bus routes have stops within close proximity to the entrance.
What will Whole Foods Market be doing at the event?
What we sell is as important as what we don’t. That’s why our standards prohibit over 230 preservatives, flavours, colours, sweeteners and other ingredients from all the food we sell in our stores. We’re pushing to make those standards higher and higher every day and we want to show you how how to feel nourished throughout the day, without the need for the ever-growing list of food ingredients we ban. Our team will be at the event handing out free samples of our favourite snacks and diet alternatives - and we think you’ll love them.
How much does it cost?
Entry across the weekend will be free to all visitors.
Do I need to buy or register for tickets in advance?
You do not need to buy a ticket for this event, and all entries to the event will be on a first-come-first-served basis each day. There will not be any opportunities to buy, register or reserve spaces in advance.
